PALPRO Center Organizes a Workshop on GMPs for Food Products

PALPRO Center organized a workshop on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food products on March 14th, 2023. The workshop specifically targeted female entrepreneurs, from the HCCI Business Incubator, who are involved in the food industry and are looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in ensuring the safety and quality of their food products.
During the workshop, participants learned about the importance and basics of GMPs in the food industry, as well as best practices for implementing GMPs in food manufacturing, documentation and record-keeping, and the latest regulatory requirements and industry standards.
The workshop was led by an industry expert with extensive experience in food safety and quality management, Dr. Saleh Sawalha, Supervisor at Quality and Applied Research Lab at PALPRO.
Participants had the opportunity to gain theoretical and practical knowledge, and enhance their capacity in this field.
